Aircraft Industry Book featuring many Catalogs!

Included in this book, is the Johns-Manville Aviation Products catalog, which is 11 pages in length. It features a lot of information about asbestos-containing products and has pictures of them being used in airplanes.
There is one paragraph about Style No. 920 gaskets which are described as containing asbestos. It says, "... Style No.920 gaskets are widely used on hot flanges and heater ducts in aircraft of the USAF and the US Navy Bureau of Aeronautics." [Paragraph is pictured below.]

This catalog also has a Products Directory section, which lists the companies that manufactured asbestos products (cloth, paper, packing, sheet, etc).
There is also an advertisement by The Lewis Engineering Co. for Aircraft Electrical Cable. The advertisement says, "Abrasion and fire resistance of asbestos."
