Chapter on Fireroom Maintenance and Repair
- Section on Boiler Manhole and Handhole Fittings and Openings - Two kinds of asbestos gaskets and their uses are described.
- A mixture of asbestos wicking and red line is one of the ways to repair leaks in uptakes and smokepipes.

Chapter on Boiler Refractories
