Asbestos Information:

Super-Seal No. 5 is a described as "A non-metallic, blue African asbestos packing recommended for use on acids, alkalis and chemicals."

John Crane Super Seal Dry Graphite Plastic Packing description says... "The plastic compound is composed of top quality pure asbestos fibres, metallic or non-metallic particles as required, special binders for specific purposes and dry lubrication throughout."

However, the only Asbestos references are those mentioned above. This is just a one page summary of their products.
Date: No copyright date, but this was removed from a 1942-1943 bound collection.

Condition: Good. Some wear to page edge.  On the reverse side of this, there is a catalog page advertisement for "Crane Co" with a different office address listed than "Crane Packing Company" which leads me to believe these were two different companies.  Only the "Crane Packing Company" page mentions asbestos.
