This catalog contains descriptions for each Garlock packing that was available when this catalog was published. Garlock gave a number to each packing, which makes them easier to identify. Most of the products in this book contain descriptions of what the packing is made out of, what it is used for, and there is often an illustration of the packing.
Many of their products contained ASBESTOS.
There are photographs of the factory, and of the Asbestos Textile Department, which show people weaving asbestos cloth.
There are 17 pages entitled Asbestos Packing Service, and they have descriptions and pictures of many different kinds of asbestos packing, including ring, coil, and alabestine packing.
There are about 10 pages entitled Railroad Packing Service, featuring asbestos products.
The Sheet Packing Service section shows and describes Asbestos Sheet Packing products.
The Gasket Service section shows and describes gaskets made out of Asbestos.
This catalog also contains packing products made out of other material too, such as metal, rubber, cotton, and flax.
Asbestos tape, made out of Asbestos cloth is also pictured.
