Asbestos References:
There is a chapter on Silicosis and Asbestosis by A. J. Lanza, M.D.
This section covers Pathology, Symptoms, and Diagnosis, Prognosis and Treatment.
It says that asbestosis is a pneumoconiosis due to the inhalation of asbestos dust and that it can cause disability and death.
It has an interesting conclusion:
"Fortunately, dust control methods are practicable and have been vigorously carried out by asbestos manufacturing companies, and it is probable that there may be little opportunity for the clinician to become familiar with this occupational disease."
CONDITION: Acceptable. Ex-library with stickers, marks, card pocket, etc. Binding is broken at one location, but it's holding pages together ok. No dustjacket.
