This book says that ASBESTOS is discouraged due to definite possibility of toxicity (cardenogenic) and it states that recent OSHA restrictions have been placed on the use of ASBESTOS for insulating purposes.

However, there are still quite a few pages that mention asbestos being used, as detailed and pictured. It has a lot of useful information about when Asbestos was used in Motors and also in Micarta.

BOOK CONDITION: Good, used condition.  Ink mark to front cover and minor cover wear. Crossed-off owner name and tape to inside front cover. A few stains to book edges. Occasional marks to pages.
