Asbestos References:

This book says that ASBESTOS is discouraged due to definite possibility of toxicity (cardenogenic) and it states that recent OSHA restrictions have been placed on the use of ASBESTOS for insulating purposes.

However, there are still quite a few pages that mention asbestos being used, as detailed and pictured. It has a lot of useful information about when Asbestos was used in Motors and also in Micarta.

BOOK CONDITION:
Good. No dustjacket. Foxing and light brown stains to page edges, however page surfaces appear mostly clean and unmarked. Binding is good.
